Invisible value, made visible & tradable.
Regenerative, organic, climate-smart and bioregional are the fastest-growing trends in food and agriculture. The Ryzosphere connects this movement, unlocking market visibility.
We are a protocol which provides a "shared language" of value allowing a farm, ranch, an ingredient, person or product to communicate why they are unique and back it with data.
This connective infrastructure helps buyers and sellers meaningfully connect, rewarding the producers who are already regenerating and incentivizing progress.
Our commons layer maps the assets of the network, so you can find who and what you're looking for. We maintain it as a service to The RZ community. It contains information from public sources and “commons” information our network shares with us.
Your sovereign data layer (the SVI-MVI) is private. Your farm and ranch data is private, and it stays yours. You decide what to share and with whom.
Soil health, nutrient density, chemical residue testing, and more are powerful ways to stand apart in the market, but that proof often sits on a hard drive where no buyer can find it. With the SVI-MVI, buyers can discover that your data exists, while you control who actually sees it. And because we never stand in the middle, the conversation that follows is yours.

No passwords, no forms to fill out. Just a conversation, and then you're on the map.
Everyone here is vetted. Use your community hub invitation or apply for a pass, and we'll ask a few questions to keep this network safe and trusted.
People are the roots of this movement, and that starts with you. Build one profile that's yours, describe every hat you wear, and connect with the communities and businesses you work with.
Activate your business and start making connections that lead to deals. Use our tools to share your story, prove your impact, and grow your business or organization.
When people find each other, opportunities multiply.
Regeneration is a verb - it is what happens when a system is unlocked, empowered and adaptive intelligence is restored.
The Bioeconomy Is Complex. The Solution is Simple.
We lost the freedom to choose who we do business with, and with it our farms, our buyers, and the businesses that held our communities together. The Ryzosphere exists to restore it, so producers find their market, buyers find the producers they have been looking for, and regeneration grows. Come be part of the journey.
Over the past 50 years, the people who grow, make, and buy our food lost something fundamental: the freedom to choose who they do business with. Corporations stepped in as the stewards of our nourishment and our cultural identity. Farmers lost buyers. Buyers lost sources. Communities lost the businesses that held them together.
This was an economic extinction event, and it ran in parallel with the ecological extinction of our land. They are one story. Just as we have lost over 80% of the natural genetic diversity of our food crops, we have seen more than 7 in 10 farms across the US disappear. A century ago, 6 in 10 Americans lived in rural communities. Today it is 2 in 10.
The once rich landscape is now facing serious consequences: poisoned and diminished aquifers, contaminated ecosystems, soil loss, biodiversity collapse and a trillion dollar epidemic of chronic illness.
Resilient systems are built on diverse, connected parts. Not monocrop systems. Not concentrated global markets that run on a handful of commodities. It is time to widen the aperture of value in the system again before it is too late.
That value did not disappear. It went invisible: cut off from the story and relationships that used to carry it, unable to be found or traded.
The Ryzosphere exists to restore market freedom and restore the “multidimensional” value landscape that regeneration is. Producers find their market. Buyers find the producers they have been looking for. New and novel value streams emerge. As those connections form, regeneration grows and biological, social, economic, and market diversity develops in parallel.
We believe that in order to regenerate our land, we must have the power to regenerate the bioeconomy itself and the business models that support it.
That is why trade relationships in The Ryzosphere belong to you. We don't stand in the middle of your deals, and we don't take a transaction fee. We are infrastructure, not a toll booth.
Find your market. Get found. Grow new markets. Help turn the tide.
Great ideas don't fail because they aren't good. They fail because the right people never find each other.
One of the things I've learned working in agriculture is this:
A grower is looking for a buyer. A startup is looking for its first customer. A processor is looking for a supplier. A researcher is looking for an industry partner.
Too often, those connections never happen.
That's why I'm excited about one of the companies launching at Elevate this year.
Joni Kindwall-Moore has been quietly building something that asks a different question: What if AI wasn't just used to make better decisions... What if it could help build better connections across agriculture?
I don't want to give too much away because Joni will officially introduce her company, The Ryzosphere, at Elevate. But if you've ever thought, “There has to be a better way to connect the people building the future of food and agriculture...” I think you'll want to be in the room.
Some of the most interesting innovations aren't replacing people. They're helping the right people find each other.
You all are doing some mission critical work here.
Keep up the good work, you all are doing some mission critical work here and I pray for your success! The broken middle of the Ag sector needs all the prayer it can get these days ;)

Farmers have little to no means of connecting to processors and consumers back to the farm. The Ryzosphere platform will allow farms, consumers and processors to see how a product is raised and processed. With each farmer to navigate his way through the regenerative process and allowing the consumer a view of what we do.
Thanks Ryzosphere for making farming fun again!
Finding a market for regenerative organic products has been a big hurdle. [The] Ryzosphere will be a game changer on our operation!
Bring more transparency and connection to the ingredient space.
True Moringa is thrilled to join the Ryzosphere - we believe it will bring more transparency and connection to the ingredient space, allowing us to link the farmers we serve directly to global markets for regenerative organic ingredients
I've never been more excited to be a regenerative farmer than I am right now!
This platform is what the regenerative agriculture industry has been looking for since day one! [The] Ryzosphere will be a game changer!!
The Ryzosphere provides a tool to empower farmers to grow food and not just a commodity.
Watching this company grow and expand over several years has been inspiring. The organization as a whole has worked to respond to regional needs by connecting values-based producers and consumers providing invaluable linkages towards building a values-based and sustainable food system. The Ryzosphere provides a tool to empower farmers to grow food and not just a commodity, enabling them to steward their lands, reinforce on-farm resiliency, and grow nutritious food for their communities while offering them a business-focused option that facilitates connection with eaters who see the value in tangibly supporting those efforts.
